The pursuit of wisdom brings security. What you're pursuing is not only going to determine the course of your life, it's going to determine how secure you are.

At Western Michigan Adult and Teen Challenge. We exist to develop a life in Christ with the hope and freedom that's found in Him.

The decisions we make determine the path that we're on. And I would submit to you that decisions you're not making, they keep you on a path. You're still moving, something's still happening, time's still ticking, things are still happening around us.

The most radical thing you could do is not go out of your way to go against the world, but to live a godly life.

I believe so many of us struggle to walk in practical wisdom in our life because we have an undisciplined tongue. And we speak death where we should be speaking life. We speak pessimism, where we should be speaking optimism.

When you have proper perspective of who he is, it puts us in proper perspective of who we are and it changes the very dynamics.

Don't throw away your confidence in the Lord. Don't throw away your trust in the Lord because of what you're facing. Trust him. Trust him even still, and he'll bring it to pass.

God never asked for a half of a commitment or a partial commitment. You have to choose to be all in.

Wisdom will cost us something. Wisdom is death to ourself because it's death to what we think is right. It's death to being right because God's the only one that's right.

It's much easier for the Lord to steer you if you're moving than if you're tethered to the dock.

A lack of discipline may not cause you to lose your salvation, but it 

could very well cause you to lose your ministry.

When God becomes our Father, two of the most significant things in every single one of our lives change. The first one is he gives us a definition of our identity. He defines who we are. And the second is that he affirms our value.

If our actions are consistent with our words, I believe it provides little wiggle room for our kids. Don't give them any wiggle room. Make sure your actions line up with your words.

His return means our resurrection. His return means accountability for how we live this life. His return means reward for stewardship, a fulfillment of his word, everyone, and a response from us regarding how we lived.

Jesus isn't returning for a bickering bride, but a spotless one.

The greater the suffering, the greater the anointing. And if you have gone through that and forgive the angels in heaven say, congratulations, you got a promise of blessing no one else has.

God will not enable you before you're faithful. He enables you because you're faithful, and then he puts you in the ministry.

I don't ever want to lose the wonder. I don't ever want to lose the amazement. I don't want to just casually  kind of come into God's presence and just take  everything for granted.

When the Holy Spirit speaks, He speaks to your heart. That's why you feel it and then wrestle with it in your mind.

I don't believe the devil is intimidated by your gifting. I do believe that once you find out what you're anointed by God to do, that you pose the biggest threat to the enemy.
