Recently Bill Otten and his team have been drilling wells for rural villages in Uganda. 70% of disease in children is caused by the surface water they retrieve from streams and ponds.  The children suffer from rashes and physical complications.  Lifeline started their 9 th well this week for Africa.  We plan for at least 24 this year. Pledges have come for 13 so far.

Prayer Requests

-Pledges to come in for more wells so they can meet their goal.

-Pray for Bill as he travels.

Elisha and Crystal Stock

We are using the aircraft to to help advance the gospel in East and Central Africa. We fly missionaries, pastors, medicines, bibles, and other supplies--whatever the church needs to continue its work of advancing the gospel. The places we fly to are often very remote and are difficult or impossible to reach by road.

A few things you can be praying for:

- Safety as we fly. Some of the places we fly are very unstable and on top of that aviation has its own risks when flying in difficult environments.

- Pray that The Lord would be known in this region of Central Africa. This part of the world has been war torn for so many years, and the conflict seems endless. Christ is the only answer for peace in the region.

- Pray for continued safety as Elisha flies

- Pray for the kids in our youth group, that they would know the Lord in a personal way.

- Pray for Elisha as he steps into a spiritual freedom ministry. Meeting 1 on 1 with people who are looking for freedoms from addictions and sin.

Today at least 2,000 languages are still waiting for a Bible translation to begin, and Wycliffe USA is working faster than ever to reach those languages as soon as possible.

Heap Him

Heap and Jennifer Him and their 7 children live and minister in Kampot, Cambodia, where they direct Therapy Training Loving Care, a school and therapy center for brain injured children. TTLC provides hope and love and help for brain injured children in a country where disabled people are considered cursed and are often marginalized, neglected or abused. TTLC provides nutritious meals, intense daily therapy, education, medical care, field trips and chance to hear of Jesus' love so that each child served at TTLC has an opportunity to become all that God wants him or her to be. TTLC also provides parents with hope, training and empowerment to help their disabled children. TTLC reaches disabled children and their families in partnership with local churches, providing opportunities for local churches to reach out to their community through caring for disabled children and their families. In addition to directing TTLC, Heap Him mentors pastors in countryside areas of Battambang and Kampot where pastors struggle with a lack of resources and education, as well as struggle with applying God's Word to everyday life in Buddhist and animist culture.

Pastor Edgar Ren'e Arellano

ZOE World Outreach is directed by Pastors René and Elena Arellano. Their family moved to Costa Rica in 1997 after they completed Bible Institute. As God widened their vision, they became part of an organization called Leaders for Christ Costa Rica and began offering a missions program in 2008, and in 2011, they began offering accredited courses in their Bible College, Word Bible College. All of these ministries work together to reach ZOE’s goal of “training mature leaders” and “impacting Costa Rica and the nations.”
